Job Title: Integration Engineer (IFS/Boomi)

My client who was had established for over 100 years, are seeking a talented IFS/Boomi Integration Engineer to join their team in Germany.

My client who are a global player in their market, employs around 4,000 people at 5 German locations and in more than 20 branches across the world. 

YOUR MAIN TASKS

• Design, develop and implementation of API and EDI interfaces within middleware Dell BOOMI for the introduction of a new ERP system (IFS).
• Coordination of internal departments and external service providers as well as customers and suppliers within the project implementation project.
• Identification of optimization potential in the interface landscape and technology, evaluation and coordination of new system requirements and implementation together with specialist departments and external service providers.
• Testing and documentation of the implemented interfaces.
• 2nd level support, analysis and troubleshooting in the area of interface management.
• Ongoing support for digitization and automation of business processes.
• Support for ongoing and future planned IT projects.

YOUR PROFILE

• 5 years of professional experience with interfaces in the ERP environment.
• Experience with IFS Applications in a technical capacity
• Experience with an EAI middleware / integration framework such as Dell BOOMI.
• Experience working with digital messaging standards and protocols such as XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, and EDIFACT
• Programming language JavaScript or Groovy
• German: B2+
• English: Conversational
