Infor LN Business Analyst

Key responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality and operational performance.
  • Act as the functional expert and key point of contact for Infor LN, particularly within manufacturing, production planning and related supply-chain processes.
  • Translate business requirements into clear functional requirements, ERP solutions and improvement proposals.
  • Work closely with production, planning, supply chain, procurement, logistics and other business stakeholders to optimise end-to-end processes.
  • Analyse and improve Infor LN manufacturing processes, including production orders, material availability, routings, work centres, operations, lead times and production control.
  • Support and optimise production planning and scheduling, ensuring that Infor LN effectively supports capacity planning, material requirements and shop-floor execution.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of MRP, demand and supply planning, inventory management and production processes.
  • Identify opportunities to improve master data, planning parameters and ERP processes to increase data quality and planning accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain the ERP service roadmap and service catalogue, with a clear focus on the further development of Infor LN.
  • Prepare functional designs and improvement proposals and guide them from concept through testing, implementation and adoption.
  • Coordinate Infor LN changes, releases, upgrades, enhancements and service improvements.
  • Assess, prioritise and validate change requests and translate them into actionable functional solutions.
  • Coordinate functional testing, user acceptance testing and release activities for Infor LN changes.
  • Monitor the daily quality, performance and availability of the ERP service.
  • Investigate and resolve incidents, escalations and complex functional issues, working with internal teams and external Infor LN partners where required.
  • Analyse recurring issues and initiate structural improvements to prevent incidents and improve service reliability.
  • Act as a tactical sparring partner for business stakeholders, IT teams, suppliers and key users.
  • Manage relationships with ERP suppliers and implementation partners and contribute to service agreements and contract negotiations.
  • Support ERP projects, process improvements and future developments, ensuring alignment between business objectives and the Infor LN roadmap.
  • Develop reports, dashboards and data analyses to support decision-making and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
